Jarrad Alevisatos
President of Port Orange Police Association
Mr. Jarrad Alevisatos became a member of the Port Orange Police Association, Local 6051 at its inception in June of 2017. He became Vice President of the Association in June of 2019 and President of the Association in August of 2021.
In 2012, Mr. Alevisatos began his career as a law enforcement officer at the Port Orange Police Department. Throughout his successful career, he has worked in the capacities of a patrol officer and a member of the Crime Suppression Team. Currently, he is serving as a K9 Handler. He has been honored with an Award of Valor, three Awards of Merit and two Unit Citations, which illustrates his hard-work and dedication to his career.
Mr. Alevisatos has an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of Daytona State College Law Enforcement Academy. He has a vested interest in his community, as he was born, raised and continues to serve in the Daytona Beach area where he worked in the private field prior to entering law enforcement. The experience, knowledge and expertise that he gained through several types of roles aids him in his current role as Vice President of the Association. His eagerness to gain new knowledge and experience, as well as, his relatability to others is beneficial to the members he serves and the responsibilities he holds in the union setting.
He prides himself on being easily reached and open to all persons for questions, concerns and comments, and on ensuring that the needs of the Association are met. His goal is to offer continued support to all Local 6051 members in the ever-changing law enforcement setting.
